USI students get jazzy with end-of-semester performance
Written by Rachel Christian
The University of Southern Indiana student Jazz Ensemble end of the semester performance will take place at 7 p.m. December 7 in Kleymeyer Hall, located in the lower level of the Liberal Arts Building. The program will include classic jazz tunes arranged by director Thomas Drury.
The Jazz Ensemble performs both on and off campus, and offers students from several areas of study the opportunity to develop their performance skills. From the styles of Ellington to the sounds of groups like Spyra Gyro, the ensemble works to create a well-rounded jazz experience.
