USI offers employers matching dollars for internships

For the fourth year in a row, the University of Southern Indiana is offering a 50 percent match for Indiana employers to fund internship and co-op opportunities for USI students. 

The match is made possible through a grant from the Lilly Endowment. USI will pay one half of each student intern's hourly wages per semester or summer session, up to a maximum hourly rate of $15. The reimbursement is paid to the employer upon the student's completion of the required work hours. 

Eligible students are required to enroll in an internship course through USI Career Services and Internships. Students interested in an internship, should register with Career Services and Internships and schedule an appointment with the appropriate internship coordinator. The Career Services and Internships office is located in the lower level of the Orr Center, Room 074.
