
USI to host panel discussion on journalism and 2016 election

The University of Southern Indiana Journalism Program, Communications Department, College of Liberal Arts, and The USI Press Club student organization will be cosponsoring a post-election panel discussion on the role of journalism in the 2016 election. "News Coverage of the 2016 Election: A Post-election Analysis of Media Performance, Manipulation and Bias," will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, November 10 in Kleymeyer Hall, located in the Liberal Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public.
A panel consisting of Thomas Langhorne of the Evansville Courier & Press, Nicholas LaRowe, USI associate professor of political science, Linda Negro, former managing editor for the Evansville Courier & Press and USI lecturer in Journalism will be joined by moderator Chad Tew, USI associate professor of journalism to discuss these topics directly following the election.
