New Harmony Theatre to hold local auditions for 2019 season

New Harmony Theatre will hold local auditions for the 2019 summer season from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, February 16 and Sunday, February 17 on University of Southern Indiana’s campus in room 116 of the Arts Center. Summer shows include Good People (June 21 – 30), Always…Patsy Cline (July 12-21), and Driving Miss Daisy (July 26-August 4).  Auditions will also be held on Wednesday, February 20 in Chicago and from Wednesday, February 27 to Friday, March 1 in New York City. 

Sides will be provided for all characters.  The monologues for Good People should be delivered in a Boston accent.  For the role of Louise Seger in Always...Patsy Cline, there will a brief monologue and actor will also sing measures 26-50 of the Patsy Cline song “Your Cheatin’ Heart.”  For the role of Patsy Cline in Always...Patsy Cline, actors will be required to sing measures 22-48 of the Patsy Cline song “Crazy” and measures 26-50 of “Your Cheatin’ Heart.”
