Ronald S. Rochon, PhD, University of Southern Indiana President, has been elected to serve a three-year term as a member of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) Board of Directors, effective immediately through 2023.

"It is an honor to be asked to serve and I am humbled by the opportunity to sit on the AASCU board," said Rochon. "USI has benefitted extensively from its AASCU membership as I have personally, and I look forward to working alongside my colleagues in helping our collective community of colleges and universities to continue to grow and thrive."

The announcement came at the conclusion of the AASCU Virtual Annual Meeting on Friday, October 23.

Rochon will be joined as a new member of the Board by Heidi M. Anderson, President, University of Maryland Eastern Shore; Emily Cutrer, President, Texas A&M University-Texarkana; and Ashish Vaidya, President, Northern Kentucky University.
