
The Spin, USI students earn recognition in Indiana student radio competition

Students at 95.7 FM The Spin, the University of Southern Indiana student-run radio station, received recognition in six categories of the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters (IASB) Competition.
The awards recognize achievement in student radio from across the state. USI was awarded an overall third place for College Radio Station of the Year.
USI students recognized by the IASB include:

2nd Place: Cole Carter, Stewart Brooking & Taylor Hollowell

2nd Place: Cole Carter
Radio Sporting Event Broadcast
3rd Place: Christian Rigg & Nathanial Barbee
Spot Production
1st Place: Dell Cripe
Radio Imaging
1st Place: Dell Cripe, Tyler Huyser, Jada Hamby & Lauren Pilkington
Additionally, Roya Saboohi won first place in the Video Sound Design category for her work done for an in-class assignment.
