USI reports 100% NCLEX pass rate for December 2025 nursing graduates
February 25, 2026
Nursing leaders at the University of Southern Indiana report that the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students who graduated in December 2025 have passed the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX®) on their first attempt. USI’s 100% first time NCLEX® pass rate exceeds the 2025 National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) average rate of 87.6%.
“Achieving a 100% NCLEX® pass rate highlights the dedication and perseverance of our students,” said Dr. Jennifer Evans, Assistant Dean for Nursing at USI’s Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions. “It also reflects the commitment of our faculty to preparing safe, competent nurses. These results reinforce the quality of USI’s Nursing Program.”
Graduating students in May, July and December, USI Nursing continues to support the regional, state and national nursing workforce.
In addition to the BSN program, USI offers a 100% online RN to BSN option for working professionals to earn a bachelor’s degree, an ASN to BSN (A2B) dual enrollment program and several graduate nursing programs for nurses to pursue advance practice nursing, leadership and education roles.
