Hagemann Awards for Music Performance finalists announced

The University of Southern Indiana College of Liberal Arts Philip Hagemann Department of Performing Arts is excited to present the 2026 Hagemann Awards for Musical Performance Concert, a competition for Posey County, Indiana, high school students. Admission to the concert and reception is open to the public at no charge.
The awards concert will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 16 in the USI Performance Center.
This year’s finalists are:
- Aiden MacMunn, Tenor
- Athan Sharber, Piano
- Collin Swartz, Clarinet
- Jewel Greathouse, Soprano
Each of the finalists will perform a 20-minute portion of the concert. The top scoring performer will receive a $1,000 award and an Alexander Scholarship worth $2,000 to be used at any college of their choosing. The remaining finalists will each receive a $500 award.
A reception will follow the concert and award ceremony.
