Narcan Boxes

Opiod rescue kits available on campus

Narcan (naloxone) is a life-saving medication used to reverse opioid overdoses. There are two boxes located on campus.

• In the C-Store by the on campus apartments
• In the Recreation, Fitness and Wellness Center, outside the entrance to the Public Safety Office. 

Narcan is proven to increase survival rates. Opioids include Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Morphine, Fentanyl, Heroin, etc. Narcan will not cause any harm when administered, even if opioids weren’t used. 

The boxes are donated and maintained by the Evansville Recovery Alliance.
