The Student Wellness Office in the Recreation, Fitness and Wellness departments offers educational programs for any student interested in learning more about alcohol and other drug use. These programs include:
Choices
Choices is an alcohol education program held in a group setting. This interactive program gives students the opportunity to reflect upon and identify alcohol related risks, brainstorm strategies for lower-risk drinking, and learn ways to keep themselves and friends safe if they choose to drink.
Directions
Directions is a cannabis education program held in a group setting. The goal of Directions is to help students weigh the pros and cons of cannabis use, identify risks and academic impacts, and discuss lower risk strategies. The program also focuses on helping students clarify their own personal values and goals to empower them to get the most out of their USI experience.
