Back-to-school reminders: Obituary and Sympathy Policy

During the beginning of the 2023 Fall Semester, USI Today will share helpful reminders of University policies and benefits for employees! Please take the time to re-familiarize yourself with these policies.
The USI Foundation monitors obituaries and alerts appropriate departments when a death in the USI community has occurred. A process is followed for notification, depending on the person who has passed, including retirees or spouse/child of a retiree; current employees or students and an employee's immediate family member.
