A 1995 Eagle scout Project at USI has found new life nearly 30 years later
The USI Women's Basketball team players and coaches had a stellar run in the 2025 OVC Championship Tournament in March at the Ford Center in downtown Evansville. After two exciting victories against Tennessee State University and University of Arkansas Little Rock, the Screaming Eagles' run came to an end on Friday, March 7 after a semi-final loss to Tennessee Tech University.

A group of 25 students, faculty, staff and alumni came to campus on Sunday, November 17 to celebrate National Take a Hike Day by sprucing up USI trails! The group raked leaves, cleared paths and installed signage.
The Multicultural Center (MCC) hosted its 30th Anniversary Celebration Friday through Sunday, October 25-27, bringing together alumni, current students and the USI community to honor the impact of the MCC on campus.
USI announced during a press conference on Thursday, October 31 that Liberty Federal Credit Union has made a historic $10 million gift to the USI Foundation for USI Athletics, securing the naming rights to the Screaming Eagles Arena for the next 20 years. The Arena will now be named Liberty Arena, Home of the Screaming Eagles.
