Mary Phillips, Assistant Professor and Chair of Respiratory Therapy, was chosen to co-lead the Indiana Joint Asthma Coalition (InJAC), a subset of the larger Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute which was founded in 2003. The mission is “to improve the health of all Indiana residents with asthma … through community collaboration to optimize wellness and decrease the burden of asthma.” She has been a member of the coalition since 2023.
Also co-leading is Dr. Nadia Krupp, a pediatric pulmonologist and director of the asthma program at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, as well as faculty at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
