Summer Spotlight: USI Alpha Sigma Tau chapter honored with three national awards

Members of the USI Alpha Sigma Tau’s Epsilon Omicron Chapter traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota, June 11-14 for the organization's 46th National Convention. During the convention, the USI chapter was recognized for demonstrating excellence within the 2024-2026 biennium!

The Epsilon Omicron Chapter was recognized with three honors during the event:

  • Academic Improvement Award: Presented to chapters with the greatest improvement in their average chapter GPA from Fall 2024 to Fall 2025.
  • Financial Excellence Award: Presented to chapters exhibiting strong budgeting and billing practices, financial management, and overall financial health.
  • Retention Excellence Award: Presented to chapters exhibiting a culture of excellence and commitment to membership retention.

Over the last two years, the Epsilon Omicron Chapter signifi cantly reduced the amount of alumnae and collegiate outstanding debt, allowing them to reallocate funds to chapter priorities such as growth and improving the member experience. Chapter President Hannah Gingrich and Vice President of Community Relations Ella Adams were present to accept the awards. Chapter Advisor and Epsilon Omicron Chapter alumna Tara Riggs Foncannon was also in attendance.

Congratulations, Screagles!
