Summer Spotlight: USI Theta-Psi Chapter of Sigma Pi nabs honors

It may be summer, but members of USI's Theta-Psi Chapter of Sigma Pi still represented the University at the  58th Biennial Convocation of Sigma Pi in Orlando, Florida, from June 18-21. They connected with brothers from chapters across the country, sharing ideas, learning from one another and helping shape the future of Sigma Pi.

During the convocation, the Theta-Psi Chapter was honored with the Grand Chapter Award (Top 25 Chapter), the Grand Council Award (Top 3 Chapter), and the William J. Cutbirth Jr. Philanthropy Award. "These achievements reflect the dedication, hard work and commitment of every member over the past two years," says Matthew Hanks, Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life. "The USI Fraternity and Sorority Life Community is incredibly proud of the chapter!"

Representing the USI chapter and accepting the awards were Tiemann Kirby, current IFC President and Theta-Psi Vice President; Breckin Sauer '26, recent USI graduate who now works for Sigma Pi Headquarters and former IFC President; and Ethan Shourd, current Theta-Psi President and former IFC President.
