It is the goal of the University of Southern Indiana to provide a Commencement experience equal for all graduates. Graduates in need of special accommodations during the line-up process, while receiving their diplomas or in other aspects of the ceremony are asked to contact Special Events and Scheduling at 812-464-1930.
Childcare will not be available during graduate line-up or the Commencement ceremonies. Graduates with young children should make arrangements for their care and supervision during the event. To help ensure a safe, smooth and enjoyable ceremony for everyone, children and other guests will need to remain in the designated guest seating areas and may not sit on the floor with graduates.
Please note that only graduates will be permitted to cross the stage when diplomas are presented.
Accessible seating for guests requiring disability-related accommodations will be available in Liberty Arena, Home of the Screaming Eagles. Guests should locate a host in a red vest to be escorted to the accessible seating areas. Closed captioning will be available on each of the large screens in the Arena.
