Rush named director of USI's Pott College Advising and Resource Center

Michael (Brody) Broshears, assistant vice president for academic success at the University of Southern Indiana, has named Heather Rush as director of the Pott College Advising and Resource Center. She began her duties on February 13.

As director of the Pott College Advising and Resource Center, Rush will lead the academic advising program for the Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education.

Prior to joining the Pott College Advising Center, she served as an academic advisor and coordinator of programs and services in University Division Advising at USI. Before coming to USI, Rush served as the director of the Office of Career Programs and oversaw new student orientation at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. She also has coordinated staff development initiatives for the Department of University Housing at the University of Georgia, and worked in the Office of Student Conduct at Virginia Tech University.

Rush holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Georgia Southern University and a master's degree in education, college student affairs administration from the University of Georgia.
