Alumni in Residence Series welcomes Lieutenant Brenden Davidson ’15
The University of Southern Indiana Alumni in Residence Series will welcome Lieutenant Brenden Davidson ’15 from 1-1:50 p.m. Monday, April 20 in Kleymeyer Hall (LA0101), located in the lower level of the Liberal Arts Center.
Davidson is currently serving in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps, assigned as a defense attorney at Defense Service Office West in Bremerton, Washington. He graduated summa cum laude from USI in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Davidson obtained his JD from the George Washington University Law School in 2024 and is an active member of the D.C. Bar. Prior to law school, he served two tours in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer.
“We are excited to host Brenden Davidson for this year's Alumni-in-Residence program,” said Dr. Matt Hanka, Professor of Political Science. “This program allows the College of Liberal Arts and the Department of Political Science, Public Administration and Philosophy to highlight the success of one of our finest and most accomplished graduates. We are excited to hear Brenden share how the political science program and his experiences at USI, including being a presidential scholar, serving in the Student Government Association, completing an internship in Governor Mike Pence’s office and serving as the student trustee, helped shape the trajectory of his career as a naval officer and a lawyer."
