University of Southern Indiana
Risk Management

The mission of the Risk Management office is to promote safety and accident prevention, to protect the assets of the University (financial, physical, and human), to minimize legal liabilities and to support the University’s compliance with laws and regulations. Strong partnerships and collaboration with the University of Southern Indiana community are central to the success of this mission.

Risk Management attempts to maintain a balance between protection of the University’s assets, the benefits of the activity, and fulfillment of the University’s mission. By establishing policies and procedures, Risk Management can manage risk and control losses.

Risk Management provides consultative services to faculty, staff, and students in areas which present risks to individuals and the University.
