The University of Southern Indiana offers a four-year program in respiratory therapy, culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree. All core curriculum courses and most respiratory therapy courses are given at the University campus. Clinical training is provided at Deaconess Hospital, Gateway, Community Methodist, Owensboro, Select, Vincennes, and St. Mary's Medical Center, under qualified medical supervision. The combination of academic work, clinical rotations, and physician contact provides the student with an intense preparation necessary for an exciting, rewarding career as a respiratory therapist. Enrollment is limited and applications to the program should be submitted before August 1 of the year the applicant desires entrance into the program.
