Prevention Education on Campus

Our office provides prevention education throughout the school year. We will post upcoming events here and our our homepage as events near. We participate in campus-wide events, as well, including the Wellness Fair, Safe Spring Break, new student orientation events, and Sexual Assault Awareness Month. If you have an event you would like for our office to participate in, please contact our Education Coordinator at jaroberts@usi.edu

Our office oversees and monitors all online compliance education. This includes Vector training for faculty, staff, and students. If you are experiencing issues accessing your online training through your myUSI portal, please contact our office at 812-464-1835 or email our Education Coordinator at jaroberts@usi.edu

Request a Training

As part of our commitment to creating a safe and respectful environment, USI provides online and in-person training opportunities for all students and employees. Trainings are designed to teach the campus community how to identify and report potential acts of discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct.

Request a Training

We can offer in-person training to small and large groups on a wide variety of topics, including consent education, bystander intervention, health relationships, interpersonal communication, and much more. Our office will work with faculty units, student groups, classes, and other organizations on an as-needed basis.  IEO can accommodate most training requests within a two-week notice.  If you like to request specialized training, please email our Education Coordinator at jaroberts@usi.edu to discuss your needs and our training options.
