Emerging Leaders

Emerging Leaders offers a group of first-year students the opportunity to develop leadership skills, make new friends, and contribute to the USI community. This program prepares individuals to succeed and contribute to USI as student leaders in subsequent years.

Emerging Leaders will hear from speakers, participate in workshops, learn about leadership opportunities, and participate in other events. Weekly sessions are on Mondays from 3 - 4:30 p.m. during the spring semester.

In addition, participants will attend the program retreat on a Saturday during the spring semester (TBA) and complete leadership and reflection activities to successfully graduate from the program in April.
