Proposal and Contract Support

OSPR administrators are here to assist faculty, staff, and students in their pursuits of external funds for research and scholarly activity by providing support in contract, proposal, budget, and narrative development, compliance, and non-financial post-award administration. Our office also supports the administration of internal grants/awards, and hosts internal grant writing workshops and consultations.

All individuals who are planning to apply for an external grant or submit a federal contract of any size are required to submit to OSPR a minimum of 15 business days prior to the submission date using the OSPR Grant Pre-Notification Form.

The Grant Management Guide includes any information principal investigators (PI) and project directors (PD) need to understand and execute their responsibilities on externally funded projects. All faculty submitting external grant proposals must certify in the pre-notification form that they have read and understand the Grant Management Guide.
