Homecoming at USI

January 24-31, 2026

Homecoming is a time-honored tradition at the University of Southern Indiana, and the Student Life Office plays a large role in coordinating the entire week of events and activities all leading up to our Homecoming Basketball games in Liberty Arena, Home of the Screaming Eagles!

"Homecoming 2026: The Quest Less Traveled"

The Quest Less Traveled draws inspiration from student input suggesting an enchanted forest theme as well as our 5th President, Steve Bridges' remarks during his inauguration, specifically highlighting the poem by Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken. During this year's Homecoming celebrations, we encourage students and alumni alike to step out of their comfort zones, take on new challenges and support one another in the USI community through not just the successes but adversity too as they continue on their quest toward achievement, the Quest Less Traveled.
