Deaconess Mobile Breast Center visit April 20

The Deaconess Mobile Breast Center will visit USI from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20 in Parking Lot I (located behind the Physical Plant Service Center). Those who wish to schedule an appointment can do so by calling 812-450-6266. When scheduling, be sure to state that you are a USI employee or a spouse of a USI employee. Bring a photo ID and medical insurance card at the time of your visit.

Eligibility Requirements for annual screening mammograms on the mobile coach:

• Screening mammograms are ages 40 and up.
• Screening mammograms under age 39 will need a doctor's order.
• No new breast lumps or concerns. Patients should contact their physician for evaluation if experiencing breast problems.
• Most insurances want patients to wait 1 year and 1 day for the mammogram.
• To prevent a possible false positive result, please be sure it has been at least 4 weeks since your last COVID vaccine/booster.
