The Hispanic Student Union (HSU), formerly Latinos Unidos, is an official registered student organization of the University of Southern Indiana.
It is the mission of the Hispanic Student Union to promote the recognition and involvement of Hispanic and Latino students at the University of Southern Indiana. The HSU intends to create a strong voice on campus to make an impact on the decisions regarding students at USI. The HSU also encourages academic achievement and personal development among its membership. In addition, HSU sponsors and promotes programs to enhance and increase knowledge and appreciation of cultural diversity. To meet the goals of its mission, HSU coordinates, sponsors, and co-sponsors various activities on campus. These activities include community service opportunities, cultural events, social events, fundraisers and more. Below are just a few of the activities the HSU has enjoyed:

HSU invites and welcomes students of all races, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds to become members.
