Step 1: Submit Your Application

Deadline: October 31

Before you begin, prepare thoughtful responses to:
• Why are you interested in being an Orientation Leader?
• What past experiences (involvement or employment) will help you succeed in this role?

You’ll also need to:
• List your campus involvement
• Provide contact info for two faculty/staff references (name, email, position) — be sure to ask their permission first!

Step 2: Group Interview

Occurs: First week of November

Once your application is submitted, you’ll receive a link to sign up.
This interactive session will showcase your:
• Leadership style
• Communication skills
• Teamwork in action
Expect collaborative problem-solving activities with fellow applicants.

Step 3: Individual Interview

Occurs: Second and third week of November

Applicants moving forward will be invited to a one-on-one interview.
This is your chance to share your story, strengths, and how you’ll contribute to the Orientation Leader team.

Step 4: Position Offers

Notifications sent by end of November

The selection committee will choose candidates who best align with the team’s mission and needs. All applicants will be notified of their status.
