Orientation Leaders (OLs) are the heart of Screaming Eagles Orientation. They welcome new students, build friendships, and make a lasting impact at USI!
What do Orientation Leaders Do?
Welcome new students and families to campus
Answer questions about the University
Provide insight to the college student experience
Lead small groups of new students through the onboarding experience
Help new students make connections with other students
Lead activities for new students
Share information with parents of new students
Assist in setting up for orientation sessions
Position Qualifications
Full-time, degree-seeking student (enrolled in at least 12 credit hours) at the University during the Spring term and registered for the following fall term
A 2.75 cumulative grade point average from most recent school (college or high school) at the time of application and maintain that grade point average throughout employment

$8.75 per hour for training and orientation days
Summer overnight housing available
