Refresher classes offered one Friday per month at Jasper Chamber of Commerce located at 302 W. 6th St. Jasper, IN 47547.

Scheduling:
Basic Orientation Plus® (BOP) courses are scheduled on most Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 8 a.m. and last approximately 6 ½ hours.
Spanish Basic Orientation Plus® (BOP) courses, at this time, are available once a month. Please see the schedule for dates available. Special arrangements can be made. Call Tamara Powell at 812-465-1018 for more information.
Basic Orientation Plus® (BOP) Refresher (Ref) courses are scheduled on most Wednesdays and Fridays beginning at 8 a.m. and last approximately 2 hours and most Monday afternoons at 3 p.m.
Computer Based courses are scheduled on most Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Jasper, IN- Basic Orientation Plus® (BOP) Refresher (Ref) courses are scheduled one Friday each month at 9 a.m. EASTERN TIME and last approximately 2 hours.

Class size is limited. Participants must register and pay for their course by 10 a.m. one business day prior to the class session.

Students will be required to show one (1) proof of identification. A valid United States passport, United States Government issued identification card or United States issued driver's license that contains a current photograph is required.
Anyone suspected of falsifying identification or caught cheating will be ejected from the class immediately at the discretion of the course instructor or program staff. Participants ejected from USI may register for future classes. However, the first offense brings a 30-day waiting period, second offense a 90-day waiting period and third offense requires a 1-year waiting period to attend a class. No exceptions.
Drugs, alcohol, weapons, foul or abusive language, or inappropriate behavior including harassment will not be permitted in class. Attendees can be ejected from the class at any time at the discretion of the course instructor or program staff. Participants ejected from USI for behavioral issues may register for future classes. However, the first offense brings a 30-day waiting period, second offense a 90-day waiting period and third offense requires a 1-year waiting period to reschedule. No exceptions.
Park in Parking Lot C. Disabled persons may use designated parking spaces by displaying a state issued disabled license plate or placard. All two- wheeled motor vehicles should be parked in designated motorcycle areas only.
Students' shoes and clothing must be clean, free from dirt, mud, chemicals, dust, grease, oil, etc. Students who are soiled or have soiled clothing or shoes will be asked to wash, change, or cover up to avoid damage to facilities or contamination of others.
Cell phones, smart watches, radios and pagers must be turned off during classes. Emergency messages may be left for attendees by calling 812-464-1989.
Effective July 1, 2021, USI prohibits smoking or the use of tobacco or tobacco products (including e-cigarette AKA vaping) on university-owned, operated, or leased property. The use of tobacco/tobacco products including e-cigarette vaping in personal vehicles is allowable, though all tobacco-product waste must be contained in the vehicle.
Classes start promptly. Students who are not registered by class start time will be turned away. Students are requested to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of class. Students are also expected to attend the entire program and must return on time from all breaks to be admitted back into the program room.
Students are given a photo ID badge as proof of a passing score.

Bad Weather Contingency Plan
The University of Southern Indiana rarely closes due to bad weather, but it can happen. Please listen to Evansville radio or television on the morning of your program if the weather is severe.
If there is an announcement that USI CLASSES are cancelled or delayed, please know this does NOT include ARSC BOP Safety Training. Your session will be held at its regularly scheduled time. However, if the CAMPUS is closed, your session will be cancelled. We will do our best to contact you if this occurs.
If you are in doubt, please call 812-464-1989 or 812-465-1085 for a recorded message. This message will be posted as early as possible, most likely between 5:30 am and 6:00 am.
If you are unable to attend your session due to travel conditions, please call 812-464-1989 to reschedule your session.
