Back-to-school reminders: USI Deaconess Clinic

As we close out the first week of classes for the 2025 Fall Semester, USI Today continues to share helpful reminders of University policies and benefits for employees! Please take the time to re-familiarize yourself with these policies as the academic year is underway.

USI Deaconess Clinic available for students and employees

The USI Deaconess Clinic is located in Suite 260 on the second floor of the Recreation, Fitness and Wellness Center. The clinic includes separate student and employee waiting areas.

USI students and employees can utilize the clinic for health needs during its regular hours this semester, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Students and employees can easily schedule an appointment time through the clinic's online portal or by calling 812-465-1250.

Services offered for employees include preventative care, wellness physicals and acute care. For the student population, the clinic offers the same primary care needs as any other clinic, including immunizations, and women's and men's healthcare, including STI testing and paps.

The USI Deaconess Clinic can also do lab testing and prescribe medications as needed. Staff have a working relationship with Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) in providing mental health care to students as well.
