Admin Senate seeking nominations for 2026-28 term

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2026-2028 Administrative Senate term.

The following positions are available:

• Officer: Vice Chair (3-year commitment: 26-27 Vice-Chair, 27-28 Chair, and 28-29 Past Chair, each a 1-year term)
• Officer: Secretary/Treasurer (2-year term)
• At-Large Senator (2-year term)
• District 1 Senator (2-year term)
• District 2 Senator (2-year term)
• District 3 Senator (2-year term)
• District 4 Senator (2-year term)

Please note that any administrator with voting rights who has served at least two years on the Administrative Senate is eligible for nomination to an officer position (i.e., Vice-Chair or Secretary/Treasurer).

Please consider running for office or nominating a colleague! To nominate yourself or another eligible administrator, submit names to adminsenate@usi.edu by 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 17.

An electronic ballot will be emailed to all eligible administrators on May 13. The new senators and the incoming Vice-Chair and Secretary/Treasurer will assume their positions on July 1, 2026.
