The CARE Team is here to help students navigate challenges that may impact their well-being, academic success or overall university experience. Through early intervention and coordinated support, the team connects students with resources for personal, academic, health and behavioral concerns before issues become more serious. Students, parents, faculty, staff and community members can share concerns when they believe a student may need assistance. The CARE Team works collaboratively across campus to assess situations, provide support and help students overcome barriers to success in a caring, respectful and confidential manner whenever possible.

The Dr. Linda L. M. Bennett Student-Care Endowment supports eligible USI students who encounter an unexpected, one-time emergency that may impact their ability to continue their education. Available to students in their second, third or fourth year, this fund reflects Dr. Bennett's longstanding commitment to helping students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
