William A. Crawford Minority Teacher Scholarship

The William A. Crawford Minority Teach Scholarship is for minority students intending to pursue, or currently pursuing, a course of study that would enable them to teach in an accredited school in Indiana for three years following graduation. Mitch Daniels Early Graduation Scholarship

The Mitch Daniels Early Graduation Scholarship is an educational benefit for students who graduate from a publicly supported high school at least one year early. The scholarship pays $4000 to be applied first to any remaining unpaid tuition on fees and can be used at any eligible Indiana college. The balance of the scholarship shall be remitted to the student. This is a one-time benefit and may not be renewed. The scholarship may not be used for remedial coursework. Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship

The Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship was created to help the next generation of Hoosier teachers pay for college. The State of Indiana will provide 200 scholarships each year to high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education. The scholarship pays $10,000 per year for up to four years to students who commit to teaching in Indiana after graduation. Earline S. Rogers Student Teaching Stipend for Minorities

The Earline S. Rogers Student Teaching Stipend is for minority students (defined as black and Hispanic individuals) who will engage in student teaching during the upcoming academic year. Student Teaching Stipend for High-Needs Fields

The Student Teaching Stipend is for minority students who plan to teach in 'high-need' fields, which means a teaching specialty that affects the economic vitality of Indiana and in which there is a shortage of candidates. The Commission will determine which specialties are considered 'high-need fields,' but they will likely include areas of STEM (e.g. math, science, physics). Special education is included through statutory language. The student must show that he/she will engage in student teaching during the upcoming academic term. The stipend will be a maximum of $4000.
