USI campus closed Saturday and Sunday, January 24-25

Due to inclement weather, the University of Southern Indiana campus will be closed, and all in-person classes, activities and on-campus events are canceled beginning at noon Saturday, January 24 and continuing through Sunday, January 25. Online classes will continue asynchronously unless students are notified by their professor. Essential personnel only should report to work. If you are unsure of your status, contact your supervisor. More information and updates at USI.edu/emergency.

Southwest Indiana AHEC strives to enhance access to continuing education in the health professions and to clinical information resources that are responsive to the needs of clinicians caring for medically underserved communities and the health care needs of those communities. Below is a calendar of continuing education events throughout the region.

We may provide financial support for health professionals from Critical Access Hospitals, Community Health Clinics, Federally Qualified Health Clinics, Rural Health Clinics to attend relevant continuing education opportunities.

The Indiana Rural Health Association is designed to provide health care leaders in rural/small communities of Indiana with networking and educational opportunities, as well as renewed motivation to tackle their challenging jobs. More information about joining IRHA and the opportunities.

Southwest Indiana AHEC is collaborating with the USI Center for Health Professions Lifelong Learning for an Adult/Adolescent/Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Training.
