October: 

October 1: Self-Care Station (11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. UC Upstairs table, near The Loft): Remember to take care of YOU at USI! Stop by our Self-Care Station to learn about the many wellness resources on campus, and pick up free stress balls, sleep masks, ear plugs, band-aids and more!

October 13-November 2: Be Rested Virtual Challenge: Improving sleep quality starts with understanding how your daily habits and routines affect your rest. Throughout this virtual challenge, you'll explore effective sleep strategies, set weekly sleep hygiene goals, and receive helpful tips and resources delivered straight to your inbox. Complete the challenge and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win a prize! Registration is now closed. 

October 14: Flowers on the Lake (4:30-5:00 p.m. in front of Liberal Arts Center): October is domestic violence awareness month. Join the USI Sexual Assault & Gender Violence Prevention Group, Albion Fellows Bacon Center, and the YWCA for this annual ceremony to remember those who have lost their lives to domestic violence.

October 23: Fall De-Stress Fest (2:00-4:00 p.m. in RFW 122): Come relax with mini pumpkin painting, coloring, hot chocolate, and free stress management resources. Hosted by RFW and CAPS.

October 28: Prevent a health SCARE! Alcohol Trivia Table (11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. UC Upstairs Table, by the Loft): What really counts as a drink? How would you help a friend with alcohol poisoning? Put your alcohol knowledge to the test and learn safer strategies if you choose to drink. Plus, learn more about USI's Medical Amnesty policy. Hosted by RFW and DOSO.

November:

November 5: Grab & Go Gratitude Jars (11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. UC Upstairs Table, by the Loft): Grab supplies to decorate your own gratitude jar!* Each jar comes with instructions for starting an easy gratitude practice. Plus, learn more about our upcoming virtual gratitude challenge. (*while supplies last)

November 10-19: Virtual Gratitude Challenge - Join our completely virtual gratitude challenge! You'll receive a gratitude prompt via e-mail each day and notice how practicing gratitude affects your mind and body. Registration required. Sign up here!

November 11: Savor the Season (12-1 p.m. in RFW 122) - The holiday season is a time for celebration, family and delicious food! With all these gatherings, it can be easy to lose sight of healthy habits and safe food practices. Join us to discuss simple strategies to help you enjoy the season without the food stress. 

November 12: Free HIV Testing (12-2 p.m. in RFW 123): Free and confidential HIV and Hep-C testing offered by Matthew 25. Take charge of your health and know your status! This is a drop-in event – no appointments.
