Join artist Sarah G. Sharp and the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art virtually on Friday, February 13th, 2026 starting at 12 p.m. CT for remarks and explanation of the exhibit based on research by the artist.

Sarah G. Sharp is an artist and curator whose interests include alternative social histories, language, place, technology and craft. She is the recipient of MacDowell Fellowship, Getty Library Research Grant, Brooklyn Arts Council Grant, BRIC Arts Media Fellowship, Bronx Museum AIM Fellowship and residency awards at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson, SoHo20 Gallery Residency Lab, Brooklyn, Textile Art Center, NY and The Vermont Studio Center. Exhibitions include The Aldrich Museum and Real Art Ways in CT, Hampden Gallery at UMass Amherst, LMAK Gallery and Field Projects Gallery in NYC. Sarah’s Oral History Interview with artist Elaine Reichek was published by the Archives of American Art at the Smithsonian Institute.

Saturday, February 28th from 3-5 p.m. CT at the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art
Join us for the opening reception celebrating the main gallery exhibit "'Exhibit Columbus: 10 Years of the J.Irwin and Xenia S. Miller Prize" and the BG, or Back Gallery, Projects Space exhibit "Locality: An Exhibit about Culture and Place in Evansville and New Harmony" The reception is from 3-5 pm on the exhibits' opening day (February 28, 2026.) Members of the Columbus Landmarks team behind Exhibit Columbus will be present to discuss this milestone anniversary for the prize. Locality exhibiting artists will also be present. Refreshments to be provided; the opening is free and open to all. Access for those needing ramp upon request.
