Historic New Harmony loaned four objects to Sarah G. Sharp's solo exhibition, And the thorns were cleared from the path..., on view from Saturday, January 10 to Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art. In doing research for the exhibition, Sarah spent time exploring Historic New Harmony's collections with Collections & Community Engagement Manager Heidi Taylor-Caudill in March 2025. These four objects speak to themes in her work and the history of women's lives and labor in New Harmony.
