On July 12, 2025, Jessica K. Whitehead, the author of a new biography of artist, writer, and early sustainability pioneer Harlan Hubbard, gave a talk at the Atheneum about her book and did a book signing. Donna and Wes Griffin also performed shantyboat tunes in the lobby of the Atheneum during the event.
