Temporary Exhibitions

Here for a while, then gone. See these exhibitions while you can.

Temporary exhibitions rotate. They're up for a few weeks or maybe a few months, then they come down to make room for something new. This constant change lets us explore specific themes in depth, feature recent acquisitions or research, experiment with different ways of interpreting history and bring in materials from other institutions that we could never display permanently.

If something here interests you, don't wait. Temporary exhibitions have closing dates, and once they're down, you've missed them. But check back: there's always something new coming.

These exhibitions are typically included with tour admission or are free to view. Some are in buildings only accessible during guided tours. Others you can visit independently during operating hours.
