Due to inclement weather conditions, the University of Southern Indiana campus will remain closed, and all in-person classes, activities and on-campus events are canceled Tuesday, January 27. Online classes will continue asynchronously unless students are notified by their professor. Essential personnel only should report to work. If you are unsure of your status, contact your supervisor. Living on Campus
Students must be actively enrolled full-time per semester to be eligible to live in University Housing. Students who drop below full-time enrollment must notify Housing and Residence Life by emailing Living. Eligibility to remain living in University Housing when enrolled less than full-time is at the discretion of Housing and Residence Life.
Application Process
Applying to live on campus is a two-step process. The first step is completing the application, paying the $50 non-refundable application fee and $300 room reservation prepayment, and signing the contract. Next, is choosing your bedspace during the designated room selection process: February for current housing residents and May for new students. Spring only applications do not participate in a room selection process. Housing staff assign these students.
It is important to note that the housing application is for a bedspace and not a specific room type. Room types are first come, first serve.
