bOLDer Brain Health Event

Did you know that per the CDC 40% of dementia cases may be prevented or delayed?  Alzheimer's disease or related dementias are not an inevitable part of aging.  Learn the 7 ways to help maintain your brain health!

Attend the bOLDer Brain Health Event on April 5th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at USI.

Earn your Brain Health diploma by visiting all 4 sessions!

1. Take a tour of the brain and how it changes during dementia by walking through an inflatable BRAIN!  Test your knowledge by completing the dementia brain change quiz to earn this portion of your Brain Health diploma.

Available in the USI Dunn Lobby from 9 am to 1 pm

2. Learn more by attending the presentation: Health Living for Your Brain and Body.  Presented by Kris Izzi, Community Outreach Coordinator, Alzheimer's Association, Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter.

9 a.m. in the USI Performance Center

3. Attend the Health and Resource Fair to learn about the 7 ways to help maintain your brain health and local resources for persons living with dementia and their caregivers.

10 a.m. to 12 pm in the Dunn Lobby

4. Join a low impact, toning and little bit of stretching for people of all ages by Sandi Davis, RFW USI.
