USI campus remains closed Tuesday, January 27

Due to inclement weather conditions, the University of Southern Indiana campus will remain closed, and all in-person classes, activities and on-campus events are canceled Tuesday, January 27. Online classes will continue asynchronously unless students are notified by their professor. Essential personnel only should report to work. If you are unsure of your status, contact your supervisor. Tour Admission

Most of our tours have admission fees. Prices vary by tour type and age. 

Atheneum Tour

  • Free

New Harmony Tram Tour

  • Adults and children over 5: $5
  • Children under 5: Free
  • New Harmony residents: Free 
  • USI students, faculty, and staff: Free with USI ID

New Harmony History Tour

  • Adults: $15
  • Seniors (age 60+) and AAA members: $12
  • Students (age 6-18) and non-USI student (with ID): $5
  • Children under 5: Free
  • New Harmony residents: Free 
  • USI students, faculty, and staff: Free with USI ID

Group Tours

  • Available for groups of 10 or more.
  • Groups must make advance reservations.

Payment Methods

We accept credit cards, cash and checks. Book your tour at the Atheneum Visitors Center in person or by phone at 812-682-4474. 

Free to Explore

You can see a lot of New Harmony for free: walking the historic district, viewing building exteriors, exploring public garden and spaces, visiting the Roofless Church. Tours and interior access to historic buildings can require paid admission.
