Activate your myUSI account at myUSI . You will need the University ID number listed in your admission letter.
Complete the online modules before arriving on campus through the Orientation Program .
Attend in-person orientation.
Complete any required placement tests.
Meet with an academic advisor and register for classes.
Obtain your Eagle Access Card (student ID card). Bring a government-issued photo ID to the Card Office, located in the lower level of UC West. Your student ID will be issued after your photo is taken.
Purchase textbooks and course materials from the USI Campus Store.
Pay tuition and fees through the Bursar's Office .
Submit your immunization record or a completed Student Immunization Form to the USI Deaconess Clinic .
Complete the International Student Data Form .
Print your GeoBlue health insurance card or your sponsored program insurance card.
Sign up for a meal plan .
SEVIS transfer students must complete the transfer process within the first two weeks of the semester. Bring your USI I-20 or DS-2019 to the Center for International Programs (CIP).
Sign up for RAVE alerts. Log in to myUSI and select the RAVEAlert icon to get started.
Complete your housing application if it has not already been submitted.
Report any change of address or phone number to the Center for International Programs within 10 days. Update the information in your myUSI account as well.
Students who receive an on-campus job must apply for a Social Security card. Students who receive scholarship funding from a U.S. source but do not work may need to apply for an ITIN. Learn more about international student employment.
