International holds are placed on your account to monitor that you do not fall below the minimum credit hours per semester as mandated by U.S. Immigration. The minimum enrolled credit hours for international undergraduates is 12 hours and the minimum for international graduate students is 6 credit hours per semester.
If you need to temporarily lift your international hold, complete the Request to Lift International Hold
If you are in your final semester and need less than the minimum 12 or 6 credit hours to complete your program, contact the Center for International Programs for information on completing a Reduced Load form. Book an appointment Appointment
