USI campus closed Saturday and Sunday, January 24-25

Due to inclement weather, the University of Southern Indiana campus will be closed, and all in-person classes, activities and on-campus events are canceled beginning at noon Saturday, January 24 and continuing through Sunday, January 25. Online classes will continue asynchronously unless students are notified by their professor. Essential personnel only should report to work. If you are unsure of your status, contact your supervisor. More information and updates at USI.edu/emergency.

You must provide the following information to receive your immigration documents:

Thank you for completing the admissions process to the University of Southern Indiana!

In order to receive your immigration documents to apply for an F-1 or J-1 visa (I-20 or DS-2019), you must provide financial documentation as evidence of the ability to pay fees and expenses for one academic year. All financial documents must not be older than six months and must show three consecutive months of bank transactions. In most cases, you will also need the financial documentation at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate when applying for your student visa.

  • Proof of Finances: Bank Statement, scholarship award letter, etc. Please Note: By signing the statement of finance form you are confirming that the stated amount is available for the student. We may contact the issuing bank to confirm. Bank statement must not be older than 6 months. Must show 3 months of continuous transactions.
  • Statement of Finances: If you are sponsored by a family member or another individual
  • Passport Copy 
  • U.S. Visa (if applicable)
  • SEVIS Transfer Request: (SEVIS transfer for F-1; if you have a J-1 Visa please contact Center for International Programs)
