"My connection to USI is that my mother was an adjunct professor and associate professor for 28 years," he explains. "I have had extensive connections to the Multicultural Center and Mrs. Pam Hopson. I started my career in education working with Mrs. Hopson and College Mentors for Kids, a program where USI students mentor elementary-age students. During this time I was able to build deep connections to the University."
