Showcasing the quality of work of our students. This paper is the work of economics and mathematics major Erika Dunkelberger. Titled "Corruption in the Ivory Trade: Optimal Ranger Compensation Policies," it is an example of model-based thinking, where insights emerge by building simple mathematical models.
