USI campus closed Saturday and Sunday, January 24-25

Due to inclement weather, the University of Southern Indiana campus will be closed, and all in-person classes, activities and on-campus events are canceled beginning at noon Saturday, January 24 and continuing through Sunday, January 25. Online classes will continue asynchronously unless students are notified by their professor. Essential personnel only should report to work. If you are unsure of your status, contact your supervisor. More information and updates at USI.edu/emergency.

BAP LogoCongratulations to the USI Beta Alpha Psi student organization for earning superior chapter status for the fiscal year 2022. To achieve superior status, chapters must comply with all national reporting requirements and must participate in volunteer outreach activities, professional meetings, and service activities.  

"Beta Alpha Psi had a major impact on my professional life. I am proud to know that the organization reached Superior Status under my presidency," Mara Caldieraro '22, says. "I want to thank the advisors and fellow members for helping me achieve this goal. I wish the new president, Kaitlyn Sturgeon, luck for the new year and hope it is prosperous.”

Beta Alpha Psi is the honor society for accounting, finance, and information management students at AACSB accredited business schools. Dr. Brian McGuire, interim dean of the Romain College of Business, is past president of BAP's national chapter.
