Shout out to our student leaders! Today get to know Jasmyne Sinnott '26, an accounting major from Boonville, Indiana, who is the president of Beta Alpha Psi.

JasmyneWhat is the most challenging part of being president of BAP?
The most challenging part of being president is planning our Meet the Firms event. There is so much behind-the-scenes planning and preparation that goes into this event throughout the entire summer and the first few weeks of school, leading up to the event. It takes a lot of time and dedication, but it has been such a great learning experience for me. It also feels good to know that I helped provide students with the opportunity to network and engage with so many different professionals.

What are your career goals?
After graduation, my goal is to pass the CPA exams and work for a public accounting firm in the Evansville area.

Tell us more about BAP and why USI students should get involved with it!
Beta Alpha Psi is an international honors organization for students and professionals in fields such as accounting, finance, and computer information systems. Members of BAP are provided with various networking opportunities and volunteer activities. We host many speakers from different accounting and finance backgrounds, giving our members the opportunity to network and learn from professionals in our community. We also participate in fun volunteer activities throughout the year.

Fun fact about you:
I fell down the piano stairs in the RCOB last year and sprained my ankle (oops).
