Barnett Research Award

Barnett Research Award

This award supports undergraduate research in collaboration with a sponsoring faculty member in the Pott College. Application Deadline: 4:30 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025; Award Limit: $1,000.

SEERGA

Proposals are invited from faculty members who are initiating a new project, continuing current research, or completing a project from the Science, Engineering, and Education Research Grant Award (SEERGA). Early career faculty members will have priority for this funding. There is a total of $15,000 available for the 2025-26 academic year. Application Deadline: Friday, November 7, 2025. The maximum amount that may be requested by each proposal is $5,000.

Pott College Innovation Fund

Pott College Innovation Fund

The Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education promotes and encourages innovative outreach, retention, and teaching-learning practices through research and teaching-based strategies focused on undergraduate success. The Pott College Innovation Fund supports faculty, staff, and students in developing a national reputation in effective student outreach, retention, and success. There is a total of $15,000 available for the 2025-26 academic year. Application Deadline: 4:30 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025; Award Limit: $5,000.

Interdisciplinary Research Grant

Interdisciplinary Research Grant

The Pott College Interdisciplinary Research Grant encourages collaborative work among tenured and non-tenured faculty from multiple disciplines. The goal of this award is to bring together teams of investigators to apply complementary approaches to work on important areas of collaborative scholarship. Application Deadline: 4:30 pm on February 13, 2026; Award Limit: $5,000.
